Try this Vegan Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding!
It is just heavenly!! If you have a sweet tooth, then try this healthy chocolate fix. It’s a perfect dessert for those with food allergies as it is nut, dairy, coconut and egg free, and it’s a great way of satisfying your sugar craving without the sugar!
Chia seeds were a real discovery for me. As someone who has cut meat out of the majority of her diet, I am looking for a variety of ways to get my healthy Omega 3 fats and fortunately chia seeds are an easy addition.
Chia is reported to boost energy, stabilise blood sugar, aid digestion, and lower cholesterol. And my beloved avocado… one of my favourites! Any chance I get i will add it, and it gives this vegan pudding a real creamy texture.
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 ripe avocado
2-3 tbsp raw cacao powder
2 tsp honey (raw honey is best)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup water (start with less at first, if you don’t have a measure for a cup)
pinch of salt (I use pink himalayan salt)
1. Put all ingredients into your blender, blend together until smooth
2. Chill in the fridge for 45 minutes.
3. Serve and enjoy!
