The only way is RAW!
Ok, so I was chatting with my beautiful friend Mandy yesterday about food. Healthy Snacks, Chocolate & Coconut were the 3 stars of the show. It’s a hot topic of conversation with us, we could have spoken for hours on these 3 ingredients, discussing the flavours, how the thought of healthy chocolate snacks makes us salivate, making ridiculous yummy noises and creating a hunger that was nowhere to be seen before the mention of chocolate!
We were flicking through some of my recipe books to see what I could make to satisfy my sweet tooth, but that also was congruent with my September detox. Sweet treats and detox aren’t two things you’d think go together, but you just need to get creative!
There are so many healthy chocolate flavoured recipes and the great thing is that once you buy the ingredients, you can then crate a whole host of other treats. This is one could not be easier.
2 scoops Arbonne chocolate protein
2 tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 tbsp Raw Honey
1 tbsp Coconut oil, melted & cooled
3 tbsp Dessicated Coconut (save some for serving)
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
4 Dates, soaked
Handful Almonds, mixed in food processor
(you can use nut butter instead of the dates and almonds if you wish)
- Blitz almonds in the food processor until sufficiently ground
- Mix all ingredients in food processor until smooth
- Roll into balls and roll in dessicated coconut to finish
